Introduction to Powershell
Learn how to use Powershell to automate just about anything. We will walk through how to get started writing Powershell scripts. We will learn to use parameters, functions, data structures, .NET objects, and how to host Powershell in your own application, and much more.

Speaker: Loren Halvorson - Birch Cove Software, LLC.
Loren is an independent software consultant who has been developing software for over 20 years, mostly in the Microsoft stack. He has worked on large and small business systems in financial, healthcare, government, and retail organizations. Loren lives in Mankato with his wife and 3 children. He leads the Mankato .NET User Group, and enjoys playing 6-string acoustic guitar with two bands in his spare time.

We meet in Meyer Hall, room 130 on the campus of Bethany College in Mankato. 700 Luther Drive, Mankato, Minnesota 56001. If you park in the Meyer Hall lot, room 130 is the first door on the right when entering from the lower level entrance.
